The good thing about surprises is that you actually don’t know what’s coming. Otherwise it wouldn’t be a surprise. Sometimes, however, you have a premonition. This is how it is for one of our protagonists. There’s a funny smell in the air and last year’s plush Easter bunny looks a bit battered. Something is different than usual, that’s clear – but what?
If the initial answer to the question is: “I haven’t told you yet, because I actually wanted to surprise you” ... your curiosity is certain to be piqued. If the surprise then also immediately comes, tail-wagging, around the corner ... by now you know that a few things in life are going to change. More fun, a new friend, and getting out in the fresh air more often.
It’s certainly not going to be boring. Let yourself be surprised!
